What is Tarbiyah Learning Academy all about?

Tarbiyah Learning Academy was founded with the intention of offering an alternative to the educational choices Muslim parents had in Ottawa, Ontario. Since then, we’ve had returning graduates come back to Tarbiyah to teach. That is a huge blessing and a testament to why we started this school. Our mission is to offer Muslim parents tailored education of their children in classrooms with a small teacher-student ratio to motivate them to treasure learning their whole lives.

What grade levels do you offer at Tarbiyah Learning Academy?

Tarbiyah Learning Academy offers classes for Muslim children beginning at Junior Kindergarden through to Grade 8.

Do you offer a day care for young children?

No, at present we do not offer day care.

How can I learn more about Tarbiyah Learning Academy?

You may follow our social media to learn about the activities, trips and environment of our school. If you are interested in enrolling your child, we offer scheduled visits and tours of the school. Please contact our office to make an appointment to do so.

Enrollment Questions

How do I enroll my child with Tarbiyah Learning Academy?

At present and for several years now we have had a large waiting list. While you may not be able to register your child for the next school year, you may add your child to our waiting list. Registration for the coming year begins at the beginning of February. Feel free to fill out our registration form here. We will notify you if a spot opens up in our classrooms for your child.

Can I put my toddler or baby on the wait list for Tarbiyah Learning Academy for the years that they will be old enough to attend?

No, we do not accept registrations for future students. You may register your child in the same year that he/she becomes 4 years of age.

How much does it cost to send my child to Tarbiyah Learning Academy?

We have set fees per child, and discounts for more than one child per family. Please see our current prices for the different grade levels here.
